I have been playing with a live drummer and a bass player (while I play guitar, electric sitar, guitar synth and other electronic bubbley noises....)

We are going for this live acid jazz, trip hop, psy trance, future funk, jam band sort of sound (if we can pull it off hopefully )

I have only owned my ti keyboard for less than a month, and I'm still in the "jerking off" thinking I'm fucking cool cause I finnaly bought a virus after shit talking for a few years phase.....

Has anybody ever ran an anolog bass guitar thru the ti to access those filters, etc.....? can you plesae share how to do this, my 3 year old takes all my "manual reading time" away, and any spare time after that goes to playing some actual music.

Thank You

Timo

You'd need a pre-amp first, though? To boost the bass guitar signal to line-level. Otherwise the signal will be too weak (bad SNR).

Yes briefly and indirectly:

Bass G into a Bass V-Amp pro, outputs from that into the TI inputs. I was using a Behringer foot controller (FCB1010) assigned to control the cutoff1 and reso1 on the TI.

Didnt do anything with it - just some random fekking around after I first got the TI :)

It gets most interesting when you assign a few choice notes ons to the foot switches to triggers arp patches in dynamic input mode with a fair bit of distortion on the bass - one of those things thats sounded really cool - just didnt have a use for it at the time :)
