i found a cheap virus A that haven't been used for many years.
and i'm thinkin of getting it but i need to sort a few things out first.
how to i check the OS version on it and what is the latest OS version?
and, what features have been put in there compared to the first OS version?
filling in the details here would be much appreciated.

thanx i know where to get it.
but how do i check the current OS version?
i thinkin it might be cheap and has'nt been used cause it's broken
and i know the first versions had alot of bugs in them so i need to
know how to check version and revision history would be nice to
if someone has that so i don't get the revision bugs mixed up with an actual
faulty machine.
don't wanna get it if it's broken you know.

On Virus C the OS version is showed in the display when it is powered on. Don?t know if this is the same on Virus A. You can check what the latest OS version is (and download it) at Access?s website. Just checked: It?s OS 2.8 but it dosn?t say anything about which features or fixed it does :?

and what if its not?
i will have no problem upgrade it. i just wanna check the OS version
and be able to rule out eventual flaws in the early versions from actual damage on the machine.
figure there might be a reason why it hasn't been used since it was new.
any concrete suggestions is much appreciated

Dunno, read the manual maybe (can be downloaded at Access?s website) or write a mail to technical support...

OMG!
why are you making so much trouble about something which is completely irrelevant?
upgrade to the newest OS and don't care about everything else :!:
Aye. It's broken! And you will never be able to upgrade it, it has collected to much dust during these years it hasn't been used.

The only one here calling us "experts" and thinking we are "of great wisdom" is you. I would have apriciated of a little less arrogant tone towards people who waste their time trying to give you clues to help you. When i say how you can read the OS version in a Virus C it is meant as a helping hand (maybe it could be that it was the same with a Virus A). If you don?t like people answering to your posts then don?t post. If you want expert opinions call tech support or READ THE FUCKING MANUAL :?
What Onkel's trying to say, is that basically you're a cunt.

Man you should have picked it up!! On an early version of the VirusA OS there was a pot issue. Many people sold them for quite cheap not knowing they could simply update the OS and have a completely stable machine!
If you're a nice guy, I'd even pay the seller a little extra out of pitty. And you really seem like a nice guy.
We hope you enjoyed your stay. :D
Timo has gone and started a wildstyle flamewar!

Well, I was sitting there writing a more eloquent post, but then I thought bollocks it would be pointless and wasted on such an ingrate... So I scrubbed it and summarised it a bit.
Sometimes you just have to say what you mean. :P
