I ve downloaded TICubaseSXPatchnames.txt from www.access-music.de and pasted that file in to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX 3\Scripts\patchnames\inactive\access
But when I got to DEVICES-->MIDI DEVICE MANAGER-->INSTALL NEW DEVICE
Virus TI is not listed. Any thoughts? I am running Cubase SX 3.1.1 w/WinXP SP2.
Thanks.

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX 3\Scripts\patchnames\inactive\access
Maybe this is your problem??? Or was that just a typo???

I had the same problem - they moved that patches but didn't delete the old ones:
Try :
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application data\Steinberg\Cubase SX\Scripts\Patchnames\inactive\
Then restart Cubase.
Thanks to whoever this was: http://www.obscure.org/~riveted/cubasesx.html

But this patch doesn't get updated once you make changes in it when in cubase. A strange thing, because the changes remain visible on subsequent cubase restarts.
I thought it would be useful to make backups un this modified patch on the occurence of a system breakdown.
The file gets copied to application data in documents and settings, but agai, it remains unmodified. WTH does cubase store this data?
