it is possible???
Why not? What is the file type? Can the TI export sounds to .mid? Does the TI support bulk dump when not using the usb? At least all the soundbanks from access website work with virus powercore.

Hello.
The Virus TI supports new oscillator-methods like hypersaw or wavetable. This isnt possible on an older Virus such as Virus C or Virus Powercore, wich means that the Virus TI Presets or any TI soundsets won't be compatible to the older Virus models, I'm afraid. Of course, the sysex dumps or the presets on the access sites are in the .mid format, but that doesn't mean they'll work with Virus PoCo. I recommend to download/buy some Virus C presets. Some of them sound quite as great as the Virus TI soundsets.

they may load and play...But i don't think you will have the same sounds as with the Ti cause alot of features are missing..With the older Virus synths

Of course you won't get the hypersaw or wavetables but the sounds may still work and sound good (but different of course). Altough Virus B or powercore wouldn't understand all the new features of the C or TI, many sounds are still great when played with B series. All depends on whether the TI can do midi bulk dumps or not.

This post made me try to get my "old" TI sounds transferred to my C again.
When I had my TI I made my own "best of" sounds with Virus Control saved to Bank A and B. This 2 banks was transferred to Cubase as sysex-dumps...
I use Nils Schneider's Universal manager (http://www.nilsschneider.de/?s=4) to make my own banks for my C but it cannot be used towards TI, and I have fiddled around with the "config"-file to this program and yesterday I got my old TI sound opened and transferred to my C...OK I think they'll not sound the same because of missing hypersaw, wavetable and so on, but they are good starters to continue editing with.
YES! YES! YES!
