The recent attacks at dissatified TI users are getting even more violent than before. Irony and vicious triumph gives place to personal attacks.
The apparent fact is Virus TI are sold faulty. I think it is obvious and unstoppable the users will express their opinions, bad - if the device has faults. And it has. It takes hundreds of posts until the subject is covered.
one quotation of many of the same kind:
"just f****** sick of n00bs coming in here and bitching at us because their TI aint working"
What "us"?! Are you Access team?

TOTAL...just remember that we are a community here, we love virus synths and this is BY NO MEANS AN OFFICIAL ACCESS FORUM.
I mostly hang here because I like reading posts from other members that I've known for a few years now...

Community - fine. But telling people to sod off, offending them?
From the "Rules":
"6. You can not harass other people on the forum. You will get one warning and i will set the warning so everyone can see it. After the warning you will be deleted and banned. Try to be nice."

3o3 in a topic I posted - http://www.sunesha.nu/virusforum/viewtopic.php?t=5296
Sorry if its a bit strong I stand by the comments tho. One the subject of offending people, I am not particularly impressed at the personally directed abuse aimed at certain people who either work with, or directly for Access - all of whom comes here in their own time to try and be helpful. It is those people who persist in such posts that my response is aimed at.
This was a great community of very enthusiastic and helpful fellow virus users until the last few weeks...
Actually it still is - for the most part, but a rather vocal minority seem intent on killing it...
And by "us" - I mean this community. I have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Access.

I did not come here to whine........
I came make new friends around one of the most impressive synth engines around.....
I wish I was an access user prior to t1 (well I'm going that route about to buy a c) I would not have been so "emotionally invested" in the t1 hype.....

NO!!!!!!!
That is the whole point! Stop whining at people that are in the same boat as yourself. Access seem to have boycotted this forum because of people like you! Thanks!

Juno, I guess we're all calm here.
This was a great community of very enthusiastic and helpful fellow virus users until the last few weeks...
Actually it still is - for the most part, but a rather vocal minority seem intent on killing it...
Kill the community? Who?
These 3 weeks reflect the problem: unkept promise, people are afraid Access can't make it.
And by "us" - I mean this community. I have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Access.
Angry ppl complain, moan, bitch - depending on their character. This is NOT attack other members of the Community.
Assuming that by the community we mean ALL its members,
which is better: quiet frustration of the dissatisfied but lovely relations with the members who work for Access or sorting things out?
Criticising
I can tell you guys that by criticising the faults of my device and exchanging opinions with others I do get to know the device better. It helps to manage with the problems, better understand the issues and later describe the problem to Access clearly. Finally it might also help to decide to get rid of the stuff and leave the forum.
Access
Attacks at Access - to some extent they would even be justified. Again, this is not equal with attacks at Access people who are members but the company - see the difference. I have not observed any of these, though. Nothing to fight then.
It does not offend me when somebody says TI if shit because his device sucks - no matter how badly. The obvious implication is he doesn't mean my TI (I will not express opinion about mine - not this thread).
Censorship
Telling them to keep quiet (or Access ppl will boycot us) we impose censorshit (was it Pulp Fiction?).
Besides it seems to imply that ppl's problems with the equipment are of lesser importance than popping in by those Access guys.
I'm sure they are here quite frequently anyway. Want to make friends? PM'em.
Ironically, we could as well argue that using bad words against other users might discourage Access team. They are not priviliged here, AFIK.
I have a proposal: let us agree to bitch in the "Problems" part only and not in the "General" or other. And lets ask the Moderators to simply move the misplaced problem related posts to itheir right place.
LET THE MEMBERS SPEAK
orgasmic? exclaim it
angry? roar, cry, whatever
wanna buy? don't hesitate to ask questions
wanna sell? let us know
Peace
Tom

I agree! Although definitely debate with outward agression and anger - makes it more interesting to read. :D

The problem is that all the bitchiness is destroying the community that is this forum. And you can argue with that all you like, but unless you've been a regular here for a fair while, STFU
If you have complaints email access.
If you want to let others know about problems you are having, post it in the problems forum.
But for the sake of jebus, can't we find something more interesting to talk about?

Is there a moderator?
Bwwaaaaahahahahaha!!!!!!
Which one do you want?
The Swedish monkey loving chef?
The progressive polka playing pirate?
The defector that is never here?
Or ex-mod Hollowcell (who is a pussy anyway)
Guys... The thing I love about this forum is that we are not censored, we are free to speak our minds, and things have a way of moderating themselves as the majority of our members are DECENT PEOPLE. Those that are assholes simply leave, or join the VirusTI forum. We all have a responsability to be fair, and give others a chance, and a second chance, and a third chance......
So, lets all take a deep breath, turn on our Virus', and make some sick-ass, dirty, nasty, Virus sounds...

The money in the Mod seat was terrible so I gave it away. Although when there started to be a few weirdos appear a while back I did say I'd do it again, but as you said bellow Jase....

I think we need a moderated joining procedure though, as there have been a few instances of spunk-bubbles posting spam and viagra links.
Most forums make you wait 24hrs and ask you why you want to join etc.
This would probably stop the casual spammer.
The Swedish monkey loving chef?
Hey, leave me outta this.. I am just here for the fame, sex, drugs and HC poo-threads.

TBH - the number of spam instances Ive seen over the last 6 months or so are hardly worth noting and anyway the follow up posts can be quite funny :)
