This is a new track called Voolkstrum that spawned from my Rhythmus Im Blut colaboration project. Kind of a break beat kinda thing with a nice subby kick. Rough master, but you'll get the general picture.

EDIT: It is now on Electromancer. Just go the Rhythmus Im Blut link in my signature and look for Voolkstrum.

Shit, bloody Myspace!

Well it'll be on Electromancer (Rhythmus Im Blut link in my signature) soon. I'll bump the thread once it appears there.

Nice drum work..loving the fills!

Very prodigy-esque at times. Looks like a productive team you got there.

I'll be posting something you may like soon....

Nice work mate!

Thanks for listening Jase. :D
Like usual it's good to get some feedback.

It is really productive, but I can't take much credit for the speed at which these tracks are being finished.
Well....I mean I did send JaseC a lot of material, but he is building on it so quickly .

To give you an idea, since starting this thread he's sent another completed track! And it's great too! 8O

Reminds me a little of the soundtrack to The Matrix :D Just one thing: The part that goes something like "dud--------dad----da-dud" starting about 2:06 is a little misplaced and should be taken out IMHO  Besides that it?s really nice work. I like it :D

I am listening to the track as I type.

Hoho, I wish - my arm is really sour now. I spent 2.5 hours in the chair and we are only about 30-40% done, next more week. It's an insane tattoo; Little Twin Stars with full colors and background. It's a really childish tattoo but i love it, it's so different from everything else and we are planning of filling the other side of the arm with more colors and odd figures.

Negative! I've just got a tattoo-intrest and now when i've found a great place I'll be colorized in no time at all probably. My whole back will get a tattoo soon, we are planning that aswell.

Alright back to buisness; First of all, it has a very prodigy-isch type of sound as the other work from you guys. I like the distorted lead aswell as the beat that seems to be flowing really well with everything, but I don't know (it's probably just mine phones that are abit fucked) I'd like to get a much more 'boomy' kick. Think 'Poison', I'd say that would really get a really nice touch to it. Dirty and heavy kickdrum with crisp clear hihats/snares and the variation on the beat is excellent as usual.

I like the 'juno'-girl vocal sound but if it was my song i'd be trying to play around with it abit more; Space-echo (eq + delay - dub-isch type of delay).

I'd love to hear the distorted lead go into a sort of frenzy, screaming away and getting the track to be even more 'crazy'.

Overall, great track indeed but some minor 'flaws' that could easily be fixed and you got yourself a recorddeal with the right recordcompany.

How's that for a small review?

Hey thanks for the feedback guys! :D

That's exactly the sort of feedback we're after.

Like I said Jason has about 90 tracks of mine to mutilate. He has been putting deadlines on himself to finish a track a week. He stops pretty much dead on one week, mixes down (doesn't wavelab or edit) and then converts to MP3 so we can get opinons.

It's feedback like this that will help us when we start to finalize the tracks.

Thanks again.

Good shit! The phased pad is a bit too much for me, but diggin the rest. Is in 3/4 time?

Thanks for listening Merlot! :D

About that pad. Is it a personal or a production problem?

Time sig: We always have Cubase setup in 4/4, but that doesn't mean we always stick to it. Cubase is used more as a multitrack recorder with us and if we break out of the original beats/bars setup it's no big deal.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen Merlot. Appriciate it.

The pad is just a personal thing! It's a dark song then all of a sudden the happy pad comes in. To my ears it doesn't sound right. Dont get me wrong, i dig the song and all but. . . . . .
