This is not my intention to start a new wave of hate for TI. 100% satisfied users please leave this thread alone. Thanx.

I just think we need to know (and access might also find it beneficial) how many people have problems with TI. Please exemplify.

Mine:

crazy screech
hang up notes in VC
system hangup (infrequent)
suspicion of TI being responsible for burning my amplifier

Especially the last point is important for me.
Once the amp gets back from the service I will have a dilemma: to connect or not to connect. Fuck!

tell me about it, i had my for about month and now some of the buttons dont do what they are suppossed to and cause the virus to go crazy. i cant even do a factory reset cause the button you need to press is doinbg suming else.

What gets me tho is the sounds are wicked and its already taken my tunes to the next level.

the best advice access gave me was to send it back which is a rite pain.

Anyway thats my rant. Still love the machine just not impressed with the faults that hav occured and the lack of support from access :x

Looks much more serious that with mine. I would just wait for 1.1 and in case it sucks, consider returning the machine 4 good.

So in effect, what your intention really is, is to start a 100% biased thread....which is predominantly negative and totally gives a mis informed representation as to what the bigger picture really is?

I dunno where your getting idea that this thread contains misinformation of the bigger picture all i know is ive spent a load of money on a product which is unusable from no fault of my own and this forum allows me to share my annoyance with other people who have at problems to. If yours works fine then well done but this isnt the thread for you

You seem to mistake information for emotion. I ask for information.

A new kind of political correctness is observable here. I don't care.
Just don't worry too much of what you call bias. Information will not kill you. Besides if you feel under threat you may avoid just this post and you will be fine. Yeah, skip threads you consider as negative. If in future there are just positive ones it will surely not be because of "pacifications".

Anyway, you do not have a TI, do you? I remember you once said you didn't.

Cheers

So it looks like there are not many. So it must be something more serious with my device

total, I get the first three issues that you noted (and get them
quite frequently). My (and i think many others) hope is that
1.1 will be the fix for all of this. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Those of you getting the "crazy screech" otherwise known as Satan's Saw...

I take it you are still getting this even after upgrading your TIs with the 1.09 "Satan's Saw" hotfix?

Actually, my "crazy noise" issue doesn't fall completely within the definition of Satan's Saw - it's different in that system starts to act up and then the sound that I was tweaking starts to emit weird noises (at which point, the tweaked sound is completely lost). I then have to reboot the TI and go back to the original sound and try to retweak it. (also, yeah, I am at 1.09)

Doc, you say you are on 1.09 - but are you on the revised 1.09 "hotfix"?

that's a very good question. I will be unpacking my equipment tonight (just moved into my new apartment) and will take a look at the revision of 1.09 that I am using. Just to be safe, I think I will install (or reinstall) the hotfix version and will check everything out.

Drammy, no and yes. with hotfix the thing has generally disappeared, except on one day when there were five or six.

no fvcking idea why only then.

i didn't change anything immediately before and afterwards until now..
