How do you know? If you could post model too, that might help others here.

Its a TI, don't suppose it matters if its a KB, Polar or desktop.
Same guts

Also posting details of the problem may help too.

Same as everybody elses errors
hanging notes, digital noise/screams and crashes.... needs turning off and on again, via the plug as the soft buttons dont work.
they said they're sending me a new one.

My new TI is in stock. Due to get it next week. It looks like I'm buying a ord LEad 3 as well, plus replacing my Virus C which I sold for the TI.
There's nothing like confidence is there!!!.

marc has posted a few times that there have been no dodgy batches. I guess like everything, you get the odd one with a latent fault, poor joint or whatever.

I was told I was getting a new VirusC when mine played up, but they sent me one that looked like it wasn't. It looked like it may have been a repaired one/B-stock or something. I needed it at the time, but now I wish I kicked up aout it.
Still the one I have now has been rock-solid - touch the cheap wooden side pannels.

Well the new TI I've had now for a few months and no hassles whatsoever. Also using that latest version of the operating system and all is well.
Last one must have been shagged.

i disagree threlly, because most of the ti's i've seen faulty were polars.
probably a similar production run, even if it is the same guts
