By Gof you're right, its an instrument demo, it should fly up the charts.
Thats got me thinking, would it be possible to take one these 'demos' add a wailing slag, chop it up a bit and release it as a download single ?
I wonder what chart position it would reach ?
OR, if you could train a chimp......
This is one of the best synth demos I've ever heard: http://waldorf.electro-music.com/micro_q/audio-demos/schnittchen.mp3

anyone has some bread to dip with this cheese?
I think the Radias has a lot going for it.
Certainly the 2 x 32-step (or 1 x 64-step) mod sequencers, morphing filters, variable decay/release curves, grainshifter, tube-modelling etc. are appealing. The supposed alias-free analogue modelling is nicked from their Oasys board. The PCM stuff and vocoder looks alright too, although I would prefer to be able to use my own PCMs as wavetables/oscillators.
Hopefully like Korg's moss synthesis it would also allow you to warp the sync of saw waves to give a fatter chorus type sound (as discussed [here (http://212.214.222.172/virusforum/viewtopic.php?t=2197)] a good while ago), and it would be truly amazing if you could do this on their "supersaw/hypersaw" equivalent (which they imaginatively titled it "unison oscillator"). 8O
Buckets of potential there, anyhow.

Maybe we should annoy them by doing a cover of it on the TI :)

I remember reading somewhere along the line that a few of the Access demos were released on 12" - although I think they were missing the "wailing slag". :D
What, you thought Access made all their money selling faulty synths?!

Here it is: http://www.novamusik.com/search.aspx?type=Manufacturer&keyword=20. Scroll a little more than halfway down. I?m almost tempted to buy it

Yeah me too!
But then I found out that you need to do all these work arounds to get it to play on a standard record player - you know, upgrade to service pack 2, make sure you hold a bunch of buttons before turning anything on, don't use standard midi while you use USB. Shit.....I'm talking about the other piece of crap they released. :D
All in good fun Access, all in good fun....

Maybe it?s recorded in 58 rpm so that you can?t play it on a regular record player. I?d love to see them do an OS update to fix that kind of bug

Work around #58:
1: Stand next to record player.
2: Jump at least 30cm from the ground every beat.
*note: You must weigh over 73.7 kilos.

You forgot to mention there should also be a cross-wind of no less than 31.53 knots in a nor-nor-westerly direction, and that the record player must be tilted to the left by 3.5 degrees. The record player can only be used between 5:34 and 5:39pm, and the records themselves must be handled using black and yellow polka-dot gloves only. Goggles are essential. (in case none of the above conditions are complied with, in which case the record player promptly blows up).
