Hi all.
My newly acquired Virus KB appears to have an apparently hardware-related glitch in that the "effects" button does not respond. Before I got as far as changing the effects switch, I noticed a few other things that didn't behave, and I began to think that these might be related (wiring wise - in a "shared-keyscan-multiplexer-line" kinda way). The misbehaviour is as follows:
* The effects button doesn't work
* The Part-down button doesn't work either
* The "-1" and "+1" octave transpose LEDs don't light up when they should, while tre "0", "-2" and "+2" ones do.
* Yet, in some patches, the "-1 octave" LED flashes irregularly, like it's being driven by a S/H circuit...
Anyone here has *ANY* idea whether these obervations could happen to be related on the "inside"? Except for the "effects" issue, they are mostly cosmetic (everything works from sysex) but it would be nice to have them fixed if it's possible without shelling out huge $$$
(and no, I haven't asked Access - yet).
TIA
