Not Bad. Mot my cup of tea, but a good effort. SOunds like the songs needs more transition (fx) from one part to another. Might be my shitty monitors here at work, but the kick sounds out of tune. Nice sounds though. Very dark mood. Turn that clap up!

I always like your stuff Onkel, many of the sounds you use are sounds I like and many remind me of the early rave tunes - infact that lead sound you have going, is that a sample by any chance?

All up I like it mate. :D

Thanks for listening and the positive feedback :D

Well it still is unfinished so plenty of room for adding fx and other tracks.
I?m not sure what you mean with the kick being out of tune. It doesn?t sound like that on my monitors or maybe i?m out of tune  Is it to low og to high? Oh and by the way; it?s not a clap, it?s a snare

I?m glad you like my stuff. Actually i find most of your stuff great too. I guess it?s because we are both leaning towards the dark side of music
The lead sound is programmed on my Fantom X. I programmed all the sounds for this track myself except for an electric bass from my Fantom X that is layered with another bass and again layered with the same 2 basses run through a Sherman (so you can?t hear it?s an electric bass anyway  ). Actually this is my first project with my own programmed drums from the Vermona. That thing is great :P

OD,
Listening to it again on my home setup, the kick does sound fine. must have been my shitty work speakers. Sorry! Is it a pitched snare, I would sware it was a clap. Finish it and lets hear it!! How is the fantom treating you? I was looking at one a little while ago.

Nice sound design Onkel! I too prefer the darker side of electronica...

nice is that new analog drum machine you bought used in this track?

about anything missing in the track.... i would maybe change up the bassline in the middle of the track and then I would take the bassline sequence and put it on a some nice synth but with higher notes and arpeggiate it with cuttoff up and down?

just a thought though

Glad to hear that it was your "shitty work monitors". You got me worried that i was getting tonedeaf
Well the snare is not really a snare but an analog snare from my Vermona. Maybe it?s only a snare because the channel says so. Certainly it doesn?t sound like a real snare. It has a clap channel too
The Fantom is great for all sort of purposed. It has loads of sounds and plenty of waves for designing your own and if that gets boring you can always upgrade with SRX-boards or sample your own. I?d say go for it :D

Jase: Thanks a lot :D

Yep, the drums are from the Vermona DRM1 MKII and so is the "boooom".
Nice suggestions. I?ll look at it. Thanks :D
