Hey guys,
I've only had my Power Mac since late december last year, and love it. But I'm afraid that I might have to to let it go because my plans are to head overseas this year, and I might not be back until 3-6 months.
I'm not 100% on selling it yet, but if I do (which will be in about a months time), would anybody be interested in buying it? It's a Dual-core 2GHz with 1GB of 533 DDR2 SDRAM and 7 months of warranty left.
Look forward to a response.
Regards,
Daniel

How much were you looking to get for it?

Well I dunno...
I guess something like $2,400 AUD...

Do you think $2,400 is reasonable, or a bit high for a used machine? I've never really sold an Apple computer, so I wouldn't have a clue.
Let me know what you think.

It's hard to say with computers...
I think the RRP for the 2.0 dual core was around AUD$3200, so knocking off AUD$800 seems like a good deal.
Im sure someone will be willing to pay that.
I did notice on the turtlerock mastering forum there was a fellow looking for a G5. They have a for sale section there, you might wanna sign up and post it there
www.turtlerockmastering.com/forums
Just let them know your ideal price, location, and Im sure someone will bite. There are a whole bunch of engineers and studio owners there, always looking to upgrade...
Good luck!

Thanks heaps for the tips, jase. I'll jump on there and give it a go.
For mr.e, if you're seriously considering buying my Power Mac, let me know so I don't sell it to someone else. I wasn't really intending to ship it overseas, as I bought it here in Australia, but if you don't have a problem and can work around the voltage difference, then it's all yours.
Let me know.
