Yes, another V-Synth demo..... :D

This time it's the VC2 (Vocal Designer) card that's built into the XT.
Got to the soundclick link in my signature to find the MP3.

This was really just a preset run through, but I did use an external carrier for a few of the sounds you hear there (VirusC, Nord and Guitar-samples were used).

I just plugged a mic into the front and used the compression and pre-FX on the V-Synth. I'm sure better results could be had using other gear for processing, but you'll get the idea.

A few sounds have a little digital clipping too - sorry about that, but I couldn't really be fucked re-recording them. :D

You need to stop posting V-Synth demos....

Im really trying not to spend money at the moment and you're not helping at all ;)

Nice demo's mate....I sure do want one!

:D This will probably be the last one, although I did record another after making a whole bunch of new patches. Not sure if I'll put it online though - there's enough there already.

At the price they sell for in Ausi, I wouldn't be buying one mate. Wait a little while.

It's not without it's quirks and not for eveyone I'd say, but fuck I do love the thing. :D

Ahh you got me.....Mother fucker! :D

But really, I just thought the words "fuck, you and mother" gave a fair representation of how well the VC2 can capture not only dynamics, but also vowel pronuncitation. :D

There must be endless possibilities...

It feels that way a lot of the time. Just so fun and fast to use though. I don't feel it can do anything violently different to anything else, but just being able to do it in one machine and with such hands on is great!

One thing I wish it could do though is internaly resample the VC2 and D50 engines, so I could import the resampled waves into the V-Synth engine. You can resample the V-Synth engine and import the waves into VC2, but not the other way around. Actually I'll have to read the manual just to make sure I can't.....Of course I could do this by recording into the PC then transfering the files, but still.
