hi guys, ive been looking around for ages and i found somewhere that has a ti polar in stock and are offering it to me for 4000.
im pretty sure im gunna stick it on layby and pay it off over a few months

its regular retail price is $5200-$5299 Australian so im thinking the deal i got is pretty good.

they said they are really hrd to get ahold of and i should stick it on layby now as it may take months to get one in if i wait until i have the full amount of money.

do you guys think this is a good deal?
just want some feedback and reassurance as ive never spent this much on a synth before lol.
thanks :D

See if it's possible to get it working to 100% in your current setup otherwise, get a C and then some other synths.

There is still loads of people that has problems with this synthesizer and some that doesn't and if you spent $4000 AUD and run into trouble, how you gonna handle it.

1. Sane and calm person that acctually could wait a month or two while a new OS is being produced.
2. Mad as hell, posting useless posts about how worthless "this piece of shait" really is.

hmmm it should work with my setup...i either record from linein/out with my puter or whatever
using reason 3 and garageband atm.
nothing too fancy.

what kind of problems are people having?
im really confused now.

and i would most likely just update the os, provided its easy and free to do.

hmm...aaghr

Unless you can "borrow" the Polar, see if it works in your setup, then I would seriously consider the KC. Also, I reckon you can get it a touch cheaper. That thing has been sat there for years, and I just know they are iching to get rid of it.

They kinda like to keep the stock flowing in and out of that place. I picked up a Lexicon MPX-500 for AUD$620 (shelf price was $999)

Speak to Mark, he is great!
