Yipee! Just bought a Ti desktop!
I intend to rack mount it - can anyone tell me how many rack spaces it takes up so I can get something big enough to take it. I think it looks like 4U but I can't find it anywhere and the guy at Turnkey didn't know either.
Thanks!
David
Congrats on the purchase. :)
4U it is.
The 4U Rack mounting kit is also included with the desktop model.
From the Access site.

Thanks Timo. Silly me for looking in the specifications page!
Yup, that's my best friend Scrubbie the Border Terrorist. Quick to learn, slow to obey.

4U it is.
What about space for cable connections at the top? Can they fit in 1 or 2U?
Cheers,

1U if you use right angle connectors, else 2U.
Or rotate the back panel and then it 0U.

I take it the back panel rotation is a TI feature?

Yeh - details in the manual I think (?) - it involves taking it apart - may impact warranty...

Got a Classic myself so not much use to me. I'm thinking I might buy a 6U Gator rack case for it. Though I do have a Yamaha A3000 in a 2U case so it might be smarter to buy a larger case for both of them and sell the 2U.

Hi. Just got my TI desktop and I want to put it in a rack. I don't see any instructions with the rack ears and need to know if I am supposed to use the same bolts that hold the wood panels in place for mounting the rack ears to the unit. I am assuming this is the case, as I see no other screws, but I'd hate to risk damaging the unit.
Thanks!
