Rack mount virus, but how many units?

Does anyone here have their virus in a rack?

How many rack spaces does it take up?
It seems that the cables would be sticking up in the way, taking up an extra space above

Im guessing maybe 4 including space for the cables sticking up.

But it would be great to hear from someone who has their virus rack mounted and can confirm. before i go buying or building anything

4 spaces, and the connections can swivel so they can connect directly to the bottom of the Virus.

How would i make the connections swivel? I cant see any way to move them

Or is it down to the possition of the rack ears?

From what I understand it's only the TI that can swivel the inputs. I have a Virus Classic, and bought a 6U rack case - 4U for the virus itself, and 2U for cables. You can use right-angle jacks for the audio connections which would bring it closer to 5U in total, but I haven't found MIDI cables yet that fit into the 1U space.
