It's not good for me :(

I am getting a lot of pops and crackles (a bit like eating a bowl of rice krispies)

When I play a sound and let go, it sounds like it's pissed (more of a whail)

Back to 1.2.3 eh!

Househead

Well back on 1.2.3 software and it's OK. No kellogs/Pissed sounds

Strange, eh!

Anybody else?

No, works flawless here. I also see some nasty bugs are gone... :D :D

I re-installed and upped my buffer from 128 to 384 and everything is OK

It's strange that I did not have to do this in 1.2.3

Hm, I often read the delta card in the signature and people fuzzing around with the buffers. strange that it seems to need such "square" sizes like 384.

How is Cubase 4? Not sure if I should upgrade from 3...

There's a few probs with it at the moment (mainly lack of DX support ).

It's OK, just waiting for the next update to iron a few things out.

There's a few pi55ed off pepole over on the steinberg forum with C4 but there
was when SX3 came out. So, I guess we are beta testers at the moment :?

Take care mate 8)

I wonder what Access's November announcement is going to be???

Something TI related for sure, but what?

Where does it say something about a November announcement? You've piqued my interest! :D

I got an email from them - I get notified of OS updates via email.

In the email it states that November sees Access's 10th anniversary, so in comemoration they are going to announce something

Dear Virus TI user,

OS 1.2.4 is available for download. The new version fixes a saving related bug, fixes a issue which could lead to crackling in multi mode, improves the compatibility with officially unsupported sequencer such as Sonar and is therefore recommended for all users.

On a lighter note, we will celebrate the Virus' 10th anniversary starting 1st of November. Watch our website - you won't regret it ...

OS 1.2.4 can be downloaded free of charge from:

http://www.access-music.de

With best regards

The Access Team

Since they just released a new OS I would be really surprised the news is TI related.

I'm thinking a new product or a special edition TI.

I really hope it's TI related tho ;)

A little something to reward current users for their patience would be nice

Ill take a years extended warranty thanks - cause to be honest I cant be sure if the remaining issues are hardware or software related.

I just realised my warranty runs out next week :(

cheers

Since the email was sent to the mailing list(and that most subscribers own an Access product), I would doubt it's some kind of rebate.

WE WANT NEW FEATURES :D

Not to put a damper on the situation, but don't forget the last lot of "marketing" Access threw out at everybody.

Now back to counting my own chickens.......

Access always unveil at least one major version of updates for the latest Virus that they released, so me reckons it's gotta be a host of new stuff for the TI.

I agree Timo,

Its the "you won't regret it" part of the email that makes me think it is to reward those who have been patient with the TI OS...

Especially as this was in an email notifying of a new OS.

I agree but then again.. Hoho, it will be like TI OS 1.0! Everything crackle & pop will occour again and every single arp-bug will re-appear once more to haunt you TI-owners!

how do you downgrade the firmware on the ti? 1.2.4 crashes my host apps now. 1.3r2 was working relatively well- thanks

Hey Timo,

The ampfea mailing list had some emails asking for different wavetables and they seemed to be willing if people would send them examples? So they must be able to update them so the space may just be worth watching :)
