View Full Version : 1024 Patches Update Virus B
Hi there, ive just got a Virus B , its great. Anyways, Ive updated to the latest OS , but i can only see banks A B C and D.
So how do i get rid of the demo and have 1024 patches instead?
Also how do you load a bank on to banks C and D , i can only force them onto A and B. Or can you select which bank if you dont do the force bank option?
Any help whould be super thanks. :)

in your os update you'll find a readme file.
read it. <-
in the OS folder you do find a file called os45_second1024.mid.
transmit it to the virus for the update.

The Virus C/KC only lets you load patches to banks A and B.
Does the Virus B have the same limitation?
Hi , thanks Ronkaz i didnt spot that bit , i dont know why they put it in with the version history. All sorted now. :D
Seems like it Alex im sure theres a way round it though, im new to it still, proably in the manual somewhere.
Hmm ive looked in the manual, and i cant see how to get banks to load into C-H . When i try to load them just overwrites A , unless i select force to A or B.
Can anyone figure this 1 out?

you load the bank to A or B and use the STORE TO FLASH (or FLASH TO ROM I can't take a look right now) to move the patches from A/B to C/D/E/F/G/H
You can not address ROM banks directly.

Ah, Phew ! I scoured the forum and ppl were saying that it wasnt possible, i wondered what that new store to flash feature was about, easy.
Thanks a million, now i can stuff it with decent non factory banks 8)
