I am really considering buying a TI. One of the features that interests me is being able to control my other synths (particularly my Waldorf Pulse) using Remote mode.

Can anyone tell me:

1. What templates are supplied?
2. How easy is it to create my own (for say the Pulse and some of my soft synths)?

I would be grateful if anyone takes the time to answer.

I don't have a full list, but there are about 20 I think, I think including the pulse.
But it is really easy to do your own.

...Great synth.Get it !!!
But if you want to control SOFT synths then your best bet IMO is a Novation SL zero..
Which is also what i will be getting very soon,I fact i can't wait :)
I used to have an old evolution Midi controler but the knobs weren't total recall so when i tweaked Cut off in My Z3ta+ (For example) the setting in the soft synth would whiz to where it was on the hardware controller..
With this total recall stuff it will read where your parametres are,so when you tweak it will move from the position it is on the soft synth and not the position of the Controller...Know what i mean ??
I never used the Ti as a controller, but i think it will have the same problem

Thanks for the replies. I have considered the Remote zero but would prefer to do it all from the Virus.

Anyway I took the plunge and have a Virus TI Keyboard in front of me now. My first Virus and it is fantastic. Just finding my way around and I have not attempted to create a template for my Pulse yet. I will save that for when I have time over the Christmas holidays.
