Hey guys,
I figured since I had the time to ask a question in the other area, I might as well take a second and introduce myself. As you might guess from the subject of the thread, I'm in a state of relocation at the moment, having just graduated from Florida State University, and getting ready to move up to NYC. I've been producing with Reason (and dabbling in other various softwares) for about 4 years now, and I've just obtained my first hardware synth, the Virus Indigo 2. I'm really not all that fantastic of a producer (and I still feel like I'm being generous :D), but I really enjoy writing music and it keeps me out of trouble, so why not, right? I also DJ every now and again (whenever I'm booked, lol, which isn't all that often), and look forward to getting up to NYC so I can start playing out some miami-tinged house music.
Anyways, I've been perusing the forums and there are some really informative conversations taking place -- so I'm glad I found this little forum because I'm sure I'll learn a load from simply lurking.
If I get some time, I will post a couple things that I've written if anyone is interested. Unfortunately, none of those tracks have been blessed by the touch of the mighty Virus, so I'm not sure how appropriate that would be.
Anyways, sorry if this is a bit long winded. See ya around
