virus multi / logic pro 7.2

Hey whats up

I'm having trouble playing any midi channels other than midi channel 1 with my virus c on logic pro.
I had it working in the past but no clue what i'm doing wrong.
Midi cahnnel 1 plays just fine. I even tried messing with the audio midi setup in os x.
anyone got any ideas how I can trouble shoot this ?

oops I solved it mself ...maybe I should leave the post here for reference just in case somebody runs into the same thing

the problem was- I switched the virus c's midi id number from 1 to a different number by mistake while I was playing with its system preferences on the synth lcd itself...so i put it back to 1 and now everything works fine all 16 channels.
