This is a link to a performance of a Korg triton. This is part of the Trance/Attack expansion.I know the sound designers at Korg sampled Viruses, Waldorfs , Nords etc .Can a virus B do the bass sound that comes in @ 00:17 ? If not what VA would it be ?

It doesn´t sound like a Virus. Maybe a Nord, maybe not (i don´t own one and don´t know them well)...

The combi is called patho's song, the program is called purepulse, the wave it is using is called nupulse. It's a very simple sound run through a compressor and delay. most of the work is being done by the arpeggiator. any V.A. should be able to replicate it. it sounds to me most like my nova2x because it has a tubular quality to it. but it should be no problem for a virus b or a nord. if you heard the sound by itself i don't think you would be too impressed with it.

The Virus could make that sound with ease.... Just a pulse/square as mentioned before arpegiated with a lowpass on it and the velocity is affecting the cutoff. You'd get the best results sequencing the arp manually in Cubase or from a sequencer so you could get the volume and filter variations. The virus would probably sound nicer doing it too.
