I also feel that its definately a Zen like balancing act sometimes to make headspace/ lifespace and to get in "the zone", and so it would be great to just take off and setup a studio on a remote tropical island and stay there out the way for a good while, or maybe to stay there and never come back at all?

Picturesque Island, golden sands, good weather, some big breasted tribal chicks, plenty of fresh food and drink and a slick PC with fast internet connection.

Ok, i think i'll go set that up now and take some pics for the studio porn thread :p

I'd say inspiration is number one, but ideally you would need a little of all three...

Creative freedom, technical know-how and constant inspiration...

Oh yeah... TIME!!!!!

As in I dont have any...

indeed time, and also headspace which I feel comes mainly thru simplifying thought and life practicality.

I can honestly say I've never longed for a studio on a tropical island somewhere. ;)

Tropical island, a kick ass studio, and a grand piano overlooking the ocean.

Nvisibl, lets pool our resources... time share anyone?
