VC Softknob - Midi Controller?

Ok so ive been reading the manual to the Virus C and on page 106 it says the Soft Knob 1/2 can be set as global, single or midicontrol

Apparently midicontrol can be used to assign the softknob to whatever midi controller number you like. This would be very useful for controlling my VST's

However when i go into the main edit section for soft knob, i only have a choice of single or global.
No option for midicontrol :confused:

Is this an error in the manual or am i doing something wrong?

IT seems that this feature has never been implemented, despite the manual says ( sorry for the grammar ) , if you want to send CC with the soft knobs , just set the single parameter to modwheel , cont3 , cont9 , ... or any other virus parameter that can be controlled by CC , it should work well ...

What a shame access never got around to doing that

I already found the cont3, 9, 12 and so on.
Plus i can set the mod wheel to send whatever midi number i want, so its not a big deal.
Was just something that had been bugging me because i couldnt find it

would have been useful to assign the mod wheel and 2 softknobs to knobs on vst's though. ah well
