Hi
I'm completing my first hardware and now i'm waiting for a VIRUS A (couple of days), but i don't know wich Midi keyboard will be the best in the low-mid price products. What do You think about "CME UF7" (~400$), maybe something else will be better? I'm looking for 5-6 octave keys. And mixer... which will the best to connect 3+ devices (stereo), im thinkind about Yamaha MW12 USB... good choice? Maybe there is something better and cheapper?

Axiom "looks" really cool, have more controllers, options, is from M-Audio (i know this company, CME not really), the price is similar. I don't know how it's possible that i didn't see them earlier. I'll test that keys... thanks Camus.

CME make rock solid controllers... great feel and very sturdy.

Edirol arent too bad either, their first bunch were a bit shaky, but they seem to have gotten better.

As far as mixers go, is USB necessary? I would go with either Allen & Heath mixwiz, or Mackie.

Do you accualy need a mixer?
You should get a multiply Input soundcard.

I belive the virus A has 3 stereo outs it would be ashame and a pain in the ass not to be able to do multitrack recording.

I think You're right Tomer=Trance, maybe i really don't need mixer, im noob in studio equipment solutions... i'll upgrade my PC to "Julia" music card in next month, and see what i need next. Now i have SB AWE64. Latency is horrible even in asio when i use too many vst instruments... Virus do this job, but the ugly noises in sound from PC not.

I have midi problems but...

I'll search info about midi connections on the internet and if i don't find anything then i'll start new thread.
