The website is under construction. As soon as I get it, you can see screenshots.

I tested a little the editor and I must admit it's very stable compared to sounddiver and very cool to use.

I like your search engine , maybe it could be possible to sort the presets by category ? would be handy !
otherwise very good work , although you could rework the interface (it's a bit sad ) it's is fully functionnal.
Ah yes ! is there a way to select analog filters ( vrius C version ) i didn't find it.
Cheers

Hi!

Thanks for the compliment!

Analog filters:
In your version the extra functions of the C version isn't supported yet.
It will come with one of the next updates.

PL: That is one of the benefiz of the editor.
PL means "part load" and is an easy way to copy a sound part of an single
program into another.
Let' say you have loaded a sound (i.e. No. A001) into your virus by double clicking the item inside the program manager. Now the program number is
green coloured (that means, that program is active now.)
Now choose a edit page like "Filter".
If you now press the PL button of another Single program (lets say A002), then all the edit parameter of the "Filter" page from A002 will be copied into program A001. If the result sounds bad- Undo!
That also works with all other edit pages and also with multi parts (only in MultiSingle-Mode) or Multi programs (only in Multi-Mode). Unfortunately
MultiSingle Mode and Multi-Mode is still a little bit buggy.:(

You can also save such program parts to disc if you press [Save F12] for save or [Show F11] to see available part files. If you double click a part file
like i.e.
*.osc
*.fil
*.lfo
inside the file manager, then the editor will load that file into the current active Single program.
Actually the file manager displays only useable files for the current active edit page.

Unfortunately I am not a GUI expert. May I gonna redesign the GUI later.
It depends on how many editors I sell.:D

Best regards,
Joerg

Think about making TI support, just concentrate on the Multi programming of the TI, as I know that loads of folk want this and it looks like access aren't going to ;) (just a friendly little hint that you have an excellent chance to get to market before anyone else)

Forgive the ignorance, but how does this compare to the reKon Virus editor? Anyone tried using both?

rekon doesn't have a trial version available.

Thank you for your reply, Joerg. I have already downloaded and played about with your software (although have not yet actually hooked up to the Virus as I've been away from home.) I do not consider the fact that reKon do not have a demo as being a feature of your software - nice try though ;-) - but it is the reason why I am asking for a comparison between the two. I like the simplicity of yours, but I prefer the look of the reKon UI. Also I am interested in what the VST functionality offers (especially as my DAW - Live 6 - is not supported.)

Cheers,

mk

Hi,

Okay, the big advance of the rekon is the VST support. I do not have that support yet. That will be in the near future.
For the moment my program only runs as stand alone app but because of the feedback of my Beta testers, it works very stable together with
Logic, Cubase and Nuendo. Running with Live 6 is worth a try.
But I know about total recall which is maybe the thing you need.
I also like th GUI of rekon. I bought the software 2 months ago and
I was very disappointed. Loading of a single prog takes a lot of time (Controller message dump!!!). The
program managment, which is a very important thing, is more basic (let's say it doesn't exists) than advanced. As far as I know, there is no multi programm support.
You can't copy parts of a program into another program.
What about unlimited Undo/Redo? Nothing...

All of that features are available in Supervirus!

As I wrote i a previous message. Supervirus was created for
sound designing!

Joerg
