Hey, Logan, welcome to the Forum.
I have a Virus C XL rack synth that has been sat in its box for over a year now (since I got a TI). It is in perfect order and has been well looked after.
It may not be what you are after but you are welcome to PM me an offer if you like...

Hi Log,
why not try Evilbay (ebay)?
Theres some great deals going on right now on used viruses
Used B desktops are ranging between 550-700$
Cs are going for 600-850$
...and the Virus A is running around $400 on Ebay.

My advice,Skip the rmx1 its a waste of time and money
get a decent PC and a good software sequencer.
There is just not point nowadays in buying a digital hardware sequencer.
That's all relative. Me, for example, is using an MPC for sequencing for 10 years. I got sick of updates and changes and the whole learning process over and over. I guess the last software based sequencer I was using was Notator Logic on the ST. I liked the original Notator so much better, btw.

My Rm1x midi timing is far superior to ANY software based sequencer thats ever existed, and that includes the Atari ST.
Plus, I don't give a rats ass if it gets damaged onstage, as they are cheap to pick up.
Plus, the way you compose on the RM1x is THE most efficient method devised.
Its utterly utterly flexible.

I'm from Scotland.
I have a 9 month old Virus Classic (same as Virus B) I bought brand new for £669.
I want a break from producing and to get a driving license, so I'll sell you it for £400 and £15 postage. That's a bloody good deal!
I'll be putting it on ebay soon, but if you want it get in touch. It has a couple of small scratches on the front but otherwise is in perfect condition. I'll throw in 2xAudio and 1xMidi cables.
You can buy it direct from me or I can put it on ebay as a 'buy it now' item so you can see I have 100% positive feedback.
It's boxed, has power supply, manual and comes with some great soundsets.
