Sequencing Virus TI

Please help me guys with this problem that I have: I bought a Roland MC808 to sequence my Virus with it and for some reason that I don't know it loses from the sounds.

Anyway the thing is please tell me of a HARDWARE Sequencer that is capable enough to host and sequence the Virus Ti. (I was planning to buy a Yamaha QY100 but I'm thinking that it's not very cheap and I don't want to buy another piece of hardware and not be able to sequence my Virus with it)

What does "loses from the sound" mean? Any MIDI sequenser should work. Sounds like something wrong with the setup or the MC808 is sending som CC data that makes the TI´s sound change or go away (or whatever it does or does not).
