I run cubase studio 4 and it seems my virus is coming in a bit early.

My neKo (cubase) is master, the virus is slave via usb and the fantom x is slave via midi.

Also tried.

Fantom master, cubase slave via midi and virus slave via usb.

Please point me in the right direction...

Thanks,
Dan

p.s. My Fantom syncs perfectly BTW.

Is the TI sending audio back via USB?

It might be that actually the Famton-X is playing late and the TI is bang on the beat - try enabling the click to see whats where.

If you are running the TI via analog outs but with VS, then yes - it will be early as the audio path is very different and plugins cant dynamically declare their latency compensation to cubase - thats a limitation of all VST/VSTi plugins and hosts.

You need to add about 50ms or so to the TI - to get the exact value - find a good tight click sound on both the fantom and the TI (very easy to make a suitable sound on the TI - START patch, amp env sustain to zero, adjust amp env decay until it clicks), then tweak the latency comp for the TI track in cubase.

I am sending the info to and from via USB, I'll test the "click" theory to find out... and I'll let you know my findings.

Thanks
Dan

Virus is fast, slowly and over time the virus sneaks ahead of everything...

If its not one thing its another... honestly. First pitch shifting now this.
