Virus TI ~ v2.5 beta OS update released
for Mac OS X, Windows XP, & Vista-32 (beta)

Latest TI OS v2.5.1 (beta) OS release (19th Sept 2007) is now Apple Logic 8 Compatible

The main features include:

• Windows Vista 32-bit beta support
• RTAS Virus Control for ProTools M-Powered, LE, and TDM.
• Sonar beta support
• Nuendo beta support
• Optimisations for FruityLoops Studio
• "Live Mode" for lowering latency within Ableton Live and Digital Performer.
• Improved VirusControl handling of songs with large track automation
• Apple Logic 8 compatible (New for v2.5.1)
• Video tutorials for Cubase and Pro Tools

Haven't got a TI myself to test it unfortunately, but it looks like a really welcome upgrade for many.

Other details also include:

-VC: Digidesign RTAS compatibility
-VC: Microsoft Vista compatibility
-VC: Low latency mode (Live Mode)
-VC: Relative volume of all parts is now adjusted if ALT key is pressed
-DR: (Windows) ASIO panel resets itself to normal when VC is being used (fixed again)
-VC: Original Value shouldn't show Patchname in Browser page (fixed)
-VC: possibly loosing song settings when no hardware is connected (fixed)
-VC: Render warning dialog no longer shown while freezing/bouncing non-VC tracks
-VC: User can lookup patch's origin in search results
-IN: added Remote Templates for Moog Voyager RME and DSI Evolver
-VC: crash whilst browsing sounds (fixed)
-VC: reduced CPU usage in audio processing
-VC: cracks and pops during audio under certain conditions (fixed)
-VC: Switching the performance setting in the ASIO panels fails sometimes when using VC (fixed)
-VC: Sound stops immediately on Sequencer stop
