wops... I voted even if I'm not in the list... anyway I've just join a rock progressive band where the virus is the center of my setup... so I really never use the virus like in these days...

Use mine as a filter box only these days - permantly conected to one of my subouts. Other than that, not at all.

in a closet along with everything else.
Bloody kids get in the way of so much. Maybe in the next 12 months I'll get it set-up again now the kids are a bit older.

Me too, Ledge. My kiddies (2.5 yrs. and 5.5 yrs.) are all over the place all the time. I just now have my 3 guitars on a stand in the den (finished garage, my lair), where my DAW is, because they pretty much stay out of there now as they have the rest of the house.
My Virus KC just got dusted off. I've dinked around with it here and there and hope to do so more by Christmas. I've been messing with my turntables more than anything recently, its just so much damn easier than recording with house full of rugrats! <Heh!>
Sickly enough I'm going to guitar center tomorrow to try out the new Motif XS6. I'm curious as to what they 4 types of arpeggiators with x,000 patterns can do. I used to have a Motif ES rack and liked it. For the money of the XS6 though I can buy a used Fantom XR AND a used Motif ES Rack... What would you blokes do?
Alas, I still have G.A.S.

Back in San Francisco for 8 months, so I couldn't pack the Virus... well, thats a lie, I could've cos it's a RackXL, but I didn't.
I did pick up a Roland MC-303 though, which I haven't really played with yet, I've been pulling some late hours. I've never owned a groovebox, so thought it might be fun.
Anyway, you're all cunts, fuck off

Still using mine day to day..
Latest track which is finished (Just needs a bit of panning to fill the corners and some overall automation checks) has a serious Ti bass part.
Also a new Electro House track i'm working on already has 4 Ti parts.
And I'm nearly finished doing a Electro House soundset...
Does that answer your question?

I sold my Virus maybe five years ago. Maybe someday I'll get one again.

Jase, you're a globetrotting kangaroo molester. I hope you join a boy band in San Francisco and end up living at the YMCA.
Juho, weren't you going to hook up a Virus desktop to an accordion as a MIDI controller and walk around Europe with an amp on your back wearing lederhosen, playing the songs of your ancestors? Seriously!

Yep, Juho was the only guy I knew who actually had serious GAS over one of those accordian things from Roland.

No, not Roland accordions. Soviet accordions! Those Soviet machines are so huge that it's fairly easy to mount serious amount of equipement inside the case. Starting from disassembled sound modules to control units, FX and battery.
BTW I'm still looking for a five-row Soviet accordion.
