View Full Version : Transpose key acting like a latch in Multi Mode.

When in Multi Mode and assigning different patches to different octaves i frequently need to switch quickly which means i often transpose down while holding the last note of the previous phrase. This, however, usually results in the last note being held, even after release of the key. the only way to stop it is with the panic shortcut.

the worry is that this doesn't happen every time i switch on but most of the time it does. Is there a way to switch this on and off or is it a bug?

also, is it usual for the tempo to take a minute or so after powerup to reach the actual tempo. I often find that if i switch on and play straight away the arpeggiators run slower.

Thanks in advance.

What Up?

Which Virus? How is it connected? Your set up?

Your problem to me sounds like the Note Off thing.
Virus' don't see Note Off. It doesn't send it and it
doesn't see it. This is true of all Virus'.
You probably won't be able to get away from this
problem if you keep playing and switching Live
while holding the last key down.

The ARP is my virus KC has always been a little out
of sync. I've seen other people comment about it
too so it must be a bug. I was hoping ACCESS (psstt)
ACCESS (HEY ACCESS) would release another OS update
for the C and KC / Indigo series but it didn't happen.

Hope this info helps

it's a polar that i'm just using as hardware i.e. on its own.

it's just a really weird problem because it only does it sometimes.

does the TI have any kind of latch/hold function other than the arpeggio hold?
