Hi

New to the Virus Synth and love it i just have one little problem with it

Some times when i turn it on and start to the when turning any of the knobs the screen goes crazy flicking through a load of settings yet it doesnt change anything as if the knobs isnt working.

Anyone know what could be wrong with it ?

Hey Machead,

My KC's lights all go on shortly after I turn it on, then it flashes the OS version on the LCD screen, then it looks normal and is ready to go. Is this similar to what you are experienceing or is yours going freaking bonkers?

Does your Virus play at all? Is it new or used?

I've turned it off and on a few times seems to have done the trick

You know, sometimes my Indigo (v1) does funny things when I turn it on too. Sometimes on power-on ALL of the LEDs light up, before the boot sequence has ended. Then it returns to normal after a second or two.

Other times the LEDs just flash briefly, and it boots up as normal.

Either way it's just during the boot sequence, and it still works. Can only think it resets/flushes certain things, or discharges stored capacitances, or similar to ready it for playing.
