I seem to be having some latency problems with my Virus TI in FL Studio.

If I load up a patch through Virus control there seems to be a very slight delay in FL Studio. If I take the same pattern and copy to a different VST like Vanguard it works fine. The easiest way to tell is if I place a note on a beat. In Vanguard it plays with the beat whereas with TI it is slightly off.

If I recreate the same pattern in Cubase it all works fine.

I have an M-Audio 2496 PCI sound card and I'm using the M-Audio ASIO driver.

Can anybody help?

cheers

Excuse my ignorance but what does that mean?

PDC = plug-in delay compensation
AFAIK = as far as I know

So are you saying what I'm experiencing is normal and I should give up on FL Studio if I want to use the Virus Control and move to something like Cubase?

So are you saying what I'm experiencing is normal & I should switch to Cubase or similar if I want to use Access Control?

No, but you need to take a look at FL Studio where to set up the latency compensation (which is in fact automatical in other hosts)

i have the same problem the way i deal with it is, turn off snapping and just put it a fraction before when you want to note to be played. It's a right bitch if you want the note to play straght away though, but fruity has got buffer settings maeby they will help.
