OK guys
ive seen (and heard) enough!
Now I want one!!!
just a quick question!
I am not sure if I should get a Polar or TI K version.
Space isnt too much of an option to be honest.
The polar looks the biz but the black k version looks sleek too.
Apart from asthetics is there any positives in either that would make you lean towards one or the other??
:p
dependant on the answer I will be looking to buy a sec user one so ...!!!
thanks!

I think the keys are different too on the boards, if I'm not mistaken. THe 61 key Virus keyboard has always been a Fatar, and is about as lush and sexy of a synth action keyboard as ever there was. I've never played the Polar keyboard, but I seem to remember a post where someone indicated that the two are different. For the amount of money on the line, I would seek out a retail place or two where you can play them and formulate an A/B comparison in your own mind...
Good luck!
I've been an owner ov the Virus KC for years now and I've been kicking myself for not getting the Indigo 2. The convenience factor ov being able to load a three-octave synth in a small case and hop on the bus to get to band practice is something I've been wanting for years.
If you are a studio-only musician, the full keyboard version may be a better option but if you are playing live or with a band, the three-octave Polar is a god-send.
And don't forget that the Polar looks AMAZING!

well I am really at this time a home studio guy.
but i have a fusion 6HD (ill say it quietly here!) and a Radias /keyboard combo, and a Novation SL61 remote for the softsynths - so I guess a polar would slip in nicely :-)
but the virus TI keyboard does look sleek .....and if the keybed is different .. I mean .. I am no piano player ... so its not 100% important although I do find the radias too highly sprung! .....
lets see what I can find ..... my pocket is loaded :-) sooo just need to find one at the right price !

does it come in THAT tiny little tin .. woooo!
you know the note changes on that as you wind the little handle round!
watch them though .... spam tins are nasty when wounded .. they bite back .. I have the scar to prove it !
