Hi all!
Is it possible to control the arpeggiator on Virus TI via MIDI (either as CC or SysEx)? Specifically, I'd like to be able to turn it on/off and change clock division.
A MIDI implementation chart for the TI would be the best answer, but it seems like it doesn't exist...
have a great day!
Boris.

Just hit record in your sequenser and change the parameter you want. Works on a "C"...

Actually, I want to do it live from my controller (Novation Remote SL).
But you're right - if this can be recorded and played back, then it can be done live as well.

It will still work. You hit record, change a parameter and after that check which CC# or polypresure note that has changed (in Cubase this is in the controler lane). If i remember right the arp parameters are controled by polypressure messages but can also send as sysex so if your controler supports this it can be done.
You could also, if you find it easier, assign arp on/off (actually it´s "arp mode" you want to control, 0=off, 1= up, 2=down, etc.) or another parameter to a known controller (the modwheel, breath or whatever) in the mod matrix and just set your controler to the same parameter. Only downside with this aproach is that you have to do this with all the pathces you want to control...

Tried it yesterday with the free MIDI-OX utility - turned out even better than using a sequencer, as you can see the exact MIDI messages on the screen and copy from there. Got the SysEx for arp on/off and clock divisions. Next phase - program it into the Novation and play ... ))
