Hi guys,

I recently bought a TI Virus.

I want to use the USB output of TI and into my I/O of my TASCAM DM3200 ( let's say 1 & 2).

I am unable to to select the TI as my audio device, as the TASCAM is.

I am running Cubase 4, do I have to route it through a group channel, or just route to inputs 1 & 2.

Any assistance would be greatful

P.S. - The DM3200 has a 32 channel F/W interface

I think most people are in the same boat to be honest.

Until an ASIO merging device turns up that enables you to use multiple ASIO drivers at once then you are stuck with using the virus digital or analogue outs into your mixer and just use the USB for MIDI.

Its strange how alot of new synths all seem to have this USB connection for pc when to probably 80% of the users it is totally useless.

Thanks for the reply.

Seeing that I have already have a Core Audio device, I'm not able to use USB for midi and the analog outs.

Whenever I plug the USB in, analog outs are disabled, so I can only really use SysEx for midi. So the Vst plugin is useless for me.

Do you have the same prob?

you should be able to use the virus midi and virus control , just not the audio part of it.

I can use the usb for midi and the virus control anyway ?

I hope that new atomizer thing can accept audio via the Spdif and not just the USB
