Today when I switched on my Ti , I was greated by this wonderful sight !

I turned it off a few times , I re-installed the OS and no change..

I called the shop and arranged it to be swapped out, when I had finished the phone call I turned the virus back on again and it was back to normal ???

could this be the start of a downward spiral of faults on my unit ?

Hmmm one question do you move it around a lot - gigging??

there are quite a few connecting cables between the panels etc.....

Maybe you just have a loose cable if it came back later.

Best to arrange a replacement anyhow ... to be safe!

no , it doesnt move from my desk.

thinking back , it was when i removed the power cable from the unit for a few minutes was when it returned to normal so I believe it was a corrupt OS which didnt totally reset when I reinstalled it.

The bad thing is , when I called the shop they told me they get quite a lot of these same faults returned and access are aware of this problem, which was why he didnt mind swapping me swapping it for a new one.

Ill leave it for now and see how it goes. Its only 6 weeks old so I have plenty of time for it to go again with the unit still under warranty.
