Virus TI kbd - VST kontrol with Live gives clicking sound.

Hi!

I installed everything. Virus kontroll starts up and it seems to be working. I have a patch with an appegiator, and i'm tweaking some filterknobs. I routed the sound like it is done in the tutorial example file. But the sound is clicking. Also, it does not always respond to my key strokes. As soon as I unplug the USB cable, the clicking stops and I can play normally.

I use an IBM laptop (T43) with windows XP. I can't reinstall it, it is my company's machine, and I think it's not necesary, I only use some MS-Word on this machine, no special things installed, an de USB ports are hardly used.

I think it must be a newbie mistake I made, but I haven't found the answer yet.

first off ... I assume when you mean Virus control you mean the VST plug in .... inside a DAW software package?

So what DAW are you using ??? sonar??

can you tell me the spec of the machine you are using ..... what proc / ram etc you use??
