Okay. Here is the deal. I recently bought a Virus TI Desktop and I really love it. To the extent that I would love to use it live as well. My main workstation is a Korg Triton Extreme and I currently use it as the midi-controller as well.
Now my question is; What kind of setup would I need to use both my Triton workstation and Virus live? I want to use my Triton sounds as well. Basically I would need to switch the Triton to a midi-controller for the virus and then be able to switch back to the Korg. Can this all be done by configuring some "midipatches" on my workstation that only send the midi-signal and not the audio or do I need a more advanced setup? Like a footswitch or something?
I've played for a long time but never before really used any midicontrollers to control rack hardware.
