Pedal sending CC data when not being used

I have a Yamaha FC7 pedal connected to the Virus and every few seconds the pedal seems to be sending out it's current value to the Virus and through to my DAW. The problem is, that this never happened with any other keyboard - only the Virus.

Is anybody else having this problem ?
