When using the TI through USB as a VST in my host, do I need to export my track using 'realtime rendering' or can I export just like any other VST instrument?
It came up in a discussion about Cubase Essential on KVR. I'm interested in using my Virus with Essential 4, but it doesn't have realtime export/rendering.
Are there other clever ways around this?
How do you guys bounce your virusized tracks?
Thanks

Hey there,
Does that mean that you cant export your virus ti tracks if you have Cubase Essential?
Or putting it in another way, isnt there a way to get your virus ti tracks out in wav format?
Thanks in advance

Probably not in an easy way. Not over USB anyhow. So I guess you'll then have to record the TI through the analog outs, but to me that kind of defeats part of the purpose of TI.
Hey for my part i bounce the Virus channel by channel i mean if u have more than one channel used on your Ti you must convert it sound by sound
If your note you can do a good mix because can't seperate a bass & a synth for example
So you send your Ti to an audio line and in solo mode you convert 1 channel at a time
The result is you have as many waves as parts on the Virus and you can do a good mix after
