hi all , again i m here seekin for some help from you guys TI experts :p

well i ve just got a Cubase 4 edu copy yesterday , it works great but i got problems setting up my virus snow correctly.

here is my set up : laptop > yamaha n8 which is digital mixer n firewire interface. So i m not using the TI as sound card.

The cubase 4 tutorial explain how to set up the output bus using the TI as a sound card but i m using my mixer firewire interface so i didnt manage to set up the usb 2 n usb 3 outputs...Usb 1 n analog out 1/2 works fine thought.

any clues?

It' very easy, just follow below steps:

1. Make sure that Cubase is running with your interface
2. install the new Virus update with the new USB driver
3. load the Virus control plugin in an instrument slot in Cubase (F11)
4. click next to the instrument edit button on that little button which allows you to expand the plugin to 3 instrument channels
5. create up to 16 midi tracks with the Virus TI control as output
6. start up the TI control plugin
7. map your patches tot the corresponding midi channels
8. press settings and choose whicxh channel you want to go to which of the 3 USB outputs.
