Can't update my virus A from V2.01

Hey there!

Can anyone telle me what's wrong ? I can' update my Virus A from V 2.01 to the latest OS -what can be wrong :confused:

Maybe i need an earlyer Version but I can't find lower Than V 2.5.2

How are you trying to update it?

You can hook up your Virus to your soundcard using MIDI In/Out, put it into update mode, and you can use Windows Media Player to play the midi file (Operating System) to the Virus.

I use cubase, loads the midi file and then try to update.

What is Up-date mode and how do i put the Virus in this mode ?

Hi Morten,

To put the Virus into Update Mode, first turn the Virus off. Then turn the Virus back on while holding down the "Store" button.

This will ready your Virus to receive the midi dump of the new operating system.

I got it now - forgot to press the Store button after turning it on while holding it down.

Now I'll try the new sounds.
