Hi. I am having trouble setting up VC. I am running cubase SX3. I went through the tutorial but i am still getting what i can best describe as detuned notes. Whenever i play, it seems that a part of the sound is detuned. What am i doing wrong?

I am totally unfamiliar with SX3, VC and the like. I am totally a hardware man trying to get into the software side of things.

Also on that note...i have another question...i am trying to find sounds to use live and i am using VC the find the sounds...but how do i know what the ROM/RAM number actually is on the TI keyboard without using VC? I can't seem to work out the correlation.

Thanks in advance

Hi Daffy,

Do you have Local Control (keyboard) set to On? What might be happening is you press a note, the Virus plays the note, but then it's also sent via the MIDI Out to cubase who, in turn, sends it back to the Virus, so you actually hear the same note twice.

Try turning LocalControl to Off. It should be in your CTRL menu.

Not sure about your other Q as I have a lowly Virus Indigo. :) Someone else may chip in.
