I just got my little bad boy up and running... and while I'm doing pretty good figuring out how to create sounds... I have a couple of questions that the manuals don't seem to address...

-Where can I find the meanings of the symbols in the LCD display?

-Does anyone have a reliable signal path map? For example... what order are the effects chained?

-Is there any way to edit the patches without using the VST and without using the front panel? any pure sysex editors out there which will work? I use max/msp as my main environment, and the TI plug-in doesn't work with the max vst~ object.

regardless... I'm loving the sounds!

thanks in advance!

*birds chirping*

is this forum active or did I miss the heyday?

any word on a midi implementation chart?

it's a bit ridiculous that people who make such good synthesizers don't have basic documentation worked out...

Hi ToG =]

The forums are pretty quiet. Oddly I've noticed it's a phenomena that has affected all the pro-music boards I visit (KorgForums.com, and VirusTI.com too [when it was still up]), and all at the same time! Wonder if my BO is that strong... :D

Access haven't explicitly shown what the symbols are, well at least in my Indigo manual. Let's compile a list of the symbols and their uses, and get any other ones we don't know checked out with the help of Access.

The two ones I know of are ♪ and SE.

♪ = MIDI activity/events occurring (like CC and note data from an external sequencer or MIDI keyboard)
SE = shows System Exclusive data is being transferred/received (usually when doing a patch/bulk dump)
