There is a guy who has been relisting his Jupiter 8, recently serviced, MINT condition, and I responded with a pity email about how I've been dreaming about it ever since I first played it, and I'd have to pay in small installments. I was half joking, because who would do that. RIGHT! The guy ended up being the same dude I bought my Alesis A6 off of, and he is down to do the deal because he is in no rush to get the cash... Pretty lucky break.
The synth is 100% perfectly functional as I can tell from playing it. The sound

Not so long ago i bought my dream synth which is a MiniMoog Voyager Signature Edition which was also not such a cheap investment for me...:-D

I am excited about it. I've been using the Arturia version to get into the sound, and I am in love.
Jupiter 8 is jupiter awesome.
You really must make some demo MP3s to show us when you get it! The last time I heard one on its own it was very thick, sounded great. :)

I played the Jupiter 8 and the filter was super unresponsive. Also, the rate of the LFO wouldn't go any faster than a crawl. It had the midi mid installed, I think perhaps it was butchered in the process.. The owner had no idea how to use it, so he didn't warn me about it...
