Hi everyone,

Big thanks to Access for another great update.. I have just installed OS3.0 on PC..

I use Ableton 7..and cubase sx3.1 .. using the TI as my main sound device.

Now, is there any official information as to which host / platform currently supports the USB sidechain function.. I´ve tried it, but it doesnt seem available..

Also I have the problem, that when I choose 3out/1input it disbales all sound.

Any ideas of advice welcome...

Thanx guys..

Hello!

This is how it works for me (TIOS V3, Ableton Live 7.0.14, XP PRO SP3):

VC 3.0: “Patch/Utility” -> “Config” -> “Input/Output Configuration“ -> “USB Audio Mode”-> “3 Outs / 1 Input”.
VC 3.0: “FX 1” -> “Input” -> “Mode” -> “Static”.
Live 7: Load a sample into an audio track -> “Audio To” -> “X-Virus TI” -> "1/2-Virus TI".
Press Play -> Happy sidechaining. :wink:If you hear nothing at all please verify which input mode is selected, especially if you use the factory input presets:

“FX 1” -> “Input” -> “Mode” -> “Static” = Hear the sidechain signal immediately.
“FX 1” -> “Input” -> “Mode” -> “Dynamic” = Play a note to hear the sidechain signal.

“FX 1” -> “Input” -> “Atomizer” -> “On” = Play a note to “atomize” the sidechain signal.

Also make sure that your sidechain signal can pass the cutoff...

I have a similar issue with Live and the TI on a mac, it seems switching to the 3out/input mode stops the USB1+2 audio route. I was able to get side chainging to work though, I just had to change the INPUT patch to use OUT1+2 instead and then I was able to hear the FX applied to the incoming audio.

Not sure if that is the intended logic or not, just seems weird that the USB audio out would disappear. Course maybe I am just doing this wrong :)
