Hi
Using Cubase 4.5 + Virus Ti os 3.
I seem to get random problems where the virus is receiving midi signal, I can see it in cubse and other midi kit works but I get no sound.
All other synths and vst plugins are sounding fine going out via the Mackie Onyx firewire interface which is the ASIO driver selected in Cubase.
What am i doing wrong.missing.
I have tried selecting both USB and Analogue outs in the utilities function in virus control and also set Various outs and ins in the setup panel.
The USB is working and have tried other usb ports on the rear of the PC.
The cables from the analogue out work fine, when the sequencer is not loaded and all midi signals are carried out and I get a sound from the Virus.
Please help

Either revert back to OS 2.7.5 or wait for an update from Access.
OS 3 is a public beta afterall. ;)

Hey man .. Thanks for the reply. I already tried re-installing 2.7.5 and its changing the os on the virus but its not changing the TI software... how do i remove everything to do with os 3 on my mac without losing my patches etc ?

Well, first unplug your Virus. Hold 'Exit' and plug the power supply back in. That should put your Virus into an OS Update Mode. Goto the 'Access' folder on your Mac and Uninstall 'Virus Control'.
After it's done un-installing, re-install 2.7.5. It should update it on your Virus aswell.
Cheers.

Blue,
Have you tried to load the tutorial song for Logic that is in the Access Music folder. Look in Documents/Tutorials/Apple Logic if I remember right.

I've finally realised what I was doing wrong.
In the Virus control I have now set up each individual track to its own output and works!
Bravo
my ti snow always loses audio on logic 8 after checking out a couple presets, the only way to fix it is to unplug and restart computer. so weak. anyway around this ?

I was having major syncing issues with pro tools 8 using virus control on an instrument track. If I put it on a regular audio track & use seperate midi tracks it cures the problem. Not sure if its PT8 or 3.0...hope this helps someone.
Cheers,
Berni.
