Virus TI in Logic Pro 8 audio issue

Hello. I've been working with the Virus TI in Apple Logic Pro 8.

I've been pulling out my hair here half the time. I've had the audio working just fine, but I find it just doesn't half the time and randomly, I swear I did nothing, it just works again.

The song I've sequenced up is playing back but no audio. I did try resetting the bunch, virus, macbook in every which way and order. The core audio is set for the Virus TI. If I set it for Built in input then sounds such as ones from logic itself work but no virus. So I switch back to the audio driver for the virus and no sound again. And though logic isn't putting out any sounds, sound from other program will work like changing the volume on the mac, that click sound when your press up and down with go and if i go play an mp3 they all work. Just seems to be an issue with the Virus plugin.

I'm loosing my mind here. Anyone have a solution?

what's the setting in Virus Control for:

Utility > Config > USB Output Mode ?

I'm not sure where to find that, can you please be more specific, I can say I know each track is set to 'usb1 out L + R'

I think i just found what you were talking about, In the config it has usb audio mode set to '3out/no input' and surround output 'out 1 L+R'

And my best bit of info is that audio does come out of the virus outputs to a mixer, but I want the audio to get through my sound card, which isn't working anymore. But its actually sending all the audio through the virus, including any audio I didnt make from the virus such as a standard loop i may load up from logic pro, plays out through the virus.
